About CrowdSwell

We ran the campaigns. Then we built the platform.

CrowdSwell did not start as software. It started as Looksee, an agency running creator programs for some of the world's biggest brands. We saw the good, the bad and the ugly of how this work really gets done, and built a system to simplify, automate and optimise the process.

Brands we have worked with

Dyson Marley Spoon Streets Bing Lee Dove Lifesavers Acer Disney John Frieda Jif Ticketek carsales DeLonghi OZ Design Pet Circle Tassal

Over a hundred brand collaborations taught us one thing: creator marketing works, but it can be a complicated, labour intensive process with a few unknowns in-between. We loved the results, but we did not love how much of the process behind those results were manual, opaque and easy to get wrong.

So we wrote down every place the work broke, and built CrowdSwell to fix it. The platform is not a theory. Every feature exists because a real campaign needed it.

What we learnt

The good, the bad and the ugly

Years in the trenches gave us a clear view of where creator marketing shines, and exactly where it falls apart.

The good

Creators sell

When the right creator, at the right price, meets the right brief, the content outperforms studio ads and drives real, trackable sales. That part was never in doubt.

The bad

Guesswork and glue

Selection ran on gut feel. Briefs, approvals and contracts lived in inboxes. Reporting was a scramble of screenshots. Too much depended on the memory of one busy person.

The ugly

It's complicated

There's creator discovery and vetting, rate negotiation, shortlisting, creative collaboration, deadline tracking, reporting and payments. That's a lot. Particularly if you want to scale.

Why CrowdSwell exists

Six things we kept getting wrong, now built in

Each capability below maps directly to a problem we hit running real programs.

01

Better creator analysis

Every creator scored on audience fit, engagement quality and projected return before a dollar is committed, across a database of more than 380 million records.

Before: pick on follower count and hope.
02

Better commercial decisions

Costs, forecasted views, eCPV and match scores sit side by side in the media plan, so every choice is a rationale that is based on real-time, first-party creator data.

Before: a quote, a vibe, and fingers crossed.
03

Live dashboards for reporting

Results update while the campaign is still live, so you optimise mid-flight instead of writing a post-mortem three weeks after the program has ended.

Before: a deck of screenshots, weeks later.
04

Superannuation payments

Real payout and superannuation rails built for Australian creators, so people get paid properly and on time, and brands stay compliant.

Before: chasing invoices, no super, late pay.
05

Task management

Outreach, briefs, contracts, approvals and posting move on a shared workflow per campaign, so deadlines are hit and nothing gets lost in a thread.

Before: inboxes, DMs and a spreadsheet.
06

One place, both sides

Brands and creators work in the same system, so briefs, materials, negotiation and payment all live against one campaign instead of scattered everywhere.

Before: Six tools that never talked.

Where we are headed

A better deal for brands, and for creators

For brands

Creator marketing that behaves like a real channel

Selected on data, run on automation, reported on sales. Predictable, accountable and built to drive revenue rather than vanity reach.

For creators

The tools and pay they have been missing

More than half of creators earn under $10,000 a year. CrowdSwell gives them a media kit, real campaigns and proper payment rails to change that.
